Forward, same rotation as the tires of the tractor when traveling forward. This rotation requires less HP to operate, allows for a smoother bed of soil behind the tiller, and allows rocks to expel without recycling them through the tiller.

There are 8 flanges. This is the total number of discs on the rotor that support the tines. These discs are precisely spaced to maximize tilling coverage while at the same time reducing jamming caused by rocks and debris.
The 6 inner flanges use 6 tines. The 2 outer flanges use 3 inward-facing tines. This configuration reduces the impacting of dirt between the outside flanges and the side plate, ultimately wearing on the bearing seals, while redirecting the soil to the inside of the tiller instead of spilling it out the sides of the tiller. 42 tines are precisely spaced to maximize down pressure on each tine as the rotor turns. They are also spaced to allow rocks and large debris to be easily expelled.
The blade types of this PTO Tiller are self-sharpening C-shaped. Compared to L-shaped, the C-shape is more efficient and requires less HP to dig into the soil. The gradual C-shape is stronger than the sharp bend of the L-shaped blades.
.25″ 60SI2MN, spring steel (American standard: A29M) formed, heat-treated, and quenched in oil. These blades are self-sharpening and made to last.

Keeps dirt in and maintains a level finish. The deflector is shaped and formed for additional strength. The adjustable deflector level allows for various finish results.

Oil bath gear-driven side gear drive mechanism; gear ratio is 1.52:1. Gear drive is superior to chain drive in every way.
Standard 3-point hitch. Or category 1 quick hitch 14a, clevis-type lower hitch makes attaching to your tractor a breeze.
T5 driveline with slip clutch torque limiter. Competitors don’t use the heavy T5 type that we do. The slip clutch is a must when tilling. The slip clutch will slip a little during heavy tilling or when contacting an unmovable object.
Supports the tiller during storage to prevent it from tipping.
Baked-on powder coat, powder coat is superior to paint.

Purchased the RT-80 rotor tiller for our garden production. This unit is well build and I’m very pleased with the performance it does. I plan on using it for many years. Thank you WoodMaxx for a well built machine that’s priced right.
After a long winter, spring finally came and with it the opportunity to try the new tiller. We purchased the RT80 over the winter and when things finally dried out we mounted it to our 60 hp New Holland tractor. I must say we were very impressed with the job it did. It left us with a beautiful seedbed with just one pass in soil we had previously worked. In untilled sod it broke the ground up thoroughly and with a couple more passes left it quite manageable.
