Our WoodMaxx snow blowers are designed to last year after year without problems, but you should take steps to maintain your snow blower to ensure that is remains in good working condition and ready to use whenever you need it. It is particularly important to check your WoodMaxx snow blower each fall before the first snow fall to ensure that the snow blower is ready for use when you need it.
One step to perform each fall on your 3pt snow blower is to inspect all of the parts for signs of wear, such as the skid shoes and cutting blade. We keep a full line of parts in stock and we ship within 24 hours of your order, allowing you to receive your parts and get back to clearing snow when it is necessary.
It is also beneficial to grease the bearings on the PTO shaft and to oil the chain with bar and chain oil before you begin using your snow blower for the season. Performing this basic maintenance will prevent the parts from locking up and damaging the snow blower.
Finally, do not forget to maintain the tractor to which your snow blower is hitched. Follow the basic maintenance schedule outlines by the tractors manufacturer to keep it in good working condition.
If you have questions about maintaining your skid steer snow blower or any other type of snow blower, call WoodMaxx and speak with one of our skilled representatives. Our representatives can answer your questions and well as help you order replacement parts.
