Before you perform any maintenance, extend the boom and dipperstick and make sure that the hydraulic pressure is relieved. This will allow you to perform your maintenance safely.

One maintenance step that you should perform regularly is to check the bucket teeth to ensure that they are in good working condition. The bucket teeth on our WoodMaxx backhoes are designed to be easily removed, allowing you to replace them easily. Replacement bucket teeth can be ordered from our parts department.

Over time, you may find that you need to replace the hoses and the oil filter, because these parts wear out over time. We design our backhoes with JIC hose fittings, allowing you to replace the hoses quickly and with parts from any auto parts or tractor supply store. The oil filters for the WoodMaxx backhoes are spin on filters, and they can be cross-referenced with NAPA, Wix, Baldwin, and others, allowing you to replace them easily and with readily available parts.
